*IMPORTANT* CDC UPDATES FOR THOSE TRAVELING BACK TO THE U.S.A FROM INTERNATIONAL COUNTRIES
HEY JETSETTERS! How have ya'll been holding up?
I know, I know. We are ALL struggling with all these new travel restrictions due to Ms. Rona! Well, it actually just got a little MORE frustrating, but some may say it's for the better.
Recently, COVID cases have been spiking tremendously in the US. To try to reduce the spread, new CDC guidelines are going into effect JANUARY 26TH, 2021.
International travelers (US Citizens as well) coming back into the US via air travel, are required to have a negative test (within 3 days) prior to boarding the plane. This actually makes sense to me. However, to reduce to the stress to travelers, I'm hoping that all hotels / resorts begin to offer testing. I'm also a little nervous that these international places will take advantage of tourists by charging crazy prices for these tests, knowing they are MANDATORY! Girl, nobody has time to be searching for testing sites and paying an EXTRA $200+ for a test, when all we wanna do is relax and sip a marg on the beach.
